Layer blend modes are common in a number of raster and vector based applications. PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketchbook Pro, Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer all include them. The Darker Color and Lighter Color blend modes differ slightly from Darken and Lighten. I’ll demonstrate what that difference is.
